Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between gym sessions and at-home sessions?

+

Gym sessions are shorter, targeted, and performed fully clothed at Jeff's gym location in The Colony. They're ideal for athletes and busy professionals who want precise, effective work without undressing — targeting specific problem areas like foot pain, hip tightness, headaches, or mobility restrictions. At-home sessions are the full-body experience: Jeff travels to you, sets up a professional massage table in your home, and delivers deep tissue work, advanced myofascial release, and lymphatic drainage in complete privacy. Most clients who experience an at-home session choose to make it a regular part of their routine through a monthly package.

How many sessions will I need to see results?

+

It depends on the condition and how long it's been there. Many clients notice meaningful change after a single session — sometimes dramatically so (like the client who had heel pain for 7 years and walked out pain-free). For chronic or complex patterns (hip dysfunction, postural imbalances, nerve-related conditions), consistent work over 4–8 sessions typically produces lasting change. Monthly packages are designed specifically for this: consistent investment that delivers compounding results over time.

What should I wear to a gym session?

+

Comfortable athletic clothing you can move freely in. Shorts, athletic pants, t-shirt — whatever you'd wear to the gym. No preparation needed. Jeff works through clothing using precise pressure and movement-based techniques.

Do you work with athletes, post-surgery clients, or people with chronic pain?

+

Yes, all three. Sports Therapy Pros was built specifically for active adults and performance-minded people. Athletes find pain free movement in the sport performance usually leads to better results. Post-surgery clients benefit particularly from scar tissue and adhesion work that restores range of motion. Chronic pain clients often find relief they've been unable to get elsewhere because Jeff focuses on root causes, not symptoms.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

+

Massage therapy is eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement in many cases, particularly when it's recommended by a physician for a specific condition. Check with your plan administrator. Jeff can provide a receipt detailing the service for your records.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

+

Jeff appreciates as much notice as possible, as his calendar is managed personally and last-minute openings can be hard to fill. Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance when possible. Monthly package holders: cancel your package by the 25th of the prior month to avoid the following month's charge.

Do you offer gift cards or packages for family or teams?

+

Gift cards are available — contact Jeff directly to arrange. Team or group rates for athletic teams, corporate wellness, or family packages can also be discussed. Email Jeff to explore options.

What areas do you serve?

+

Gym-based sessions are at The Colony, TX. Jeff also serves the surrounding North Dallas corridor: Frisco, Grapevine, Lewisville, Coppell, Highland Village, Addison, Farmers Branch, Plano, Allen, McKinney, Flower Mound, and Little Elm for same-day or same-week appointments. At-home sessions cover the greater Dallas area by appointment on designated days. Travel outside the area is available when the client reimburses lodging and travel costs.

Do you take insurance?

+

Sports Therapy Pros does not bill insurance directly. However, Jeff can provide a detailed receipt for services that you may submit for reimbursement depending on your plan.
